Swift ergonomic skinner
Time is of the essence when processing wild game, especially in the warmer months. The trailing point curves upward to create an elevated point higher than the handle. This shape forms an oversized belly that is suitable for slicing and skinning. 80CrV2 High Carbon steel can process an entire deer without much resharpening, preserving time and valuable meat.
The Pickens Game Knife was tested by several hunters and used on many deer before being put into production. I named it after the farm I was hunting on with the many hunters who helped test and offered feedback—the Pickens Farm.
