Bear Forest Knives GT-3- The Constant Companion

Bear Forest Knives is introducing the GT-3 fixed-blade sheath knife. The compact woods companion or everyday carry (EDC) knife for work and play is here!

What do Roman and Greek swords and the famed Swiss Army Knife have in common? The answer is simple, the utilitarian spearpoint-shaped blade. The core of this unassuming knife is the 3-inch blade made of 80CrV2 Carbon Steel. The full flat grind of the GT-3 assists in the blade’s ability to slice through materials like leather, rope, cardboard, and food. It features a sharp, robust tip for incising and drilling into wood for various outdoor applications. Sporting a rugged Rock Tumbled Acid Wash finish, the blade will look more rustic as it ages. It has a 90-degree spine for striking a ferrocerium (Ferro) rod and scraping tinder for making a campfire.

The Bear Forest Knives GT-3 diminishes the thought of a small utility EDC knife having a comfortable, hand-filling grip. With this handle, those with large hands or work gloves WILL feel comfortably at home with the 4.25-inch handle and micarta scales. The knife comes standard with a streamlined black Kydex sheath that is meant to be conveniently worn horizontally (scout carry). This type of carry stays out of the way yet remains ready to report to duty.

The tried and true utility blade facilitates anything the user can throw at it in true Bear Forest Knives style— and then some!
